Krohn LBV Port 2017 is an exceptional Late Bottled Vintage Port from Wiese & Krohn, one of the Douro Valley's most respected historic Port houses, founded in 1865 by two Norwegian visionaries. Late Bottled Vintage Ports are an increasingly popular style, produced from just a single year's crop with the vintage specified on the bottle.

Each LBV expresses the particular characteristics of that vintage, making them collectible and distinctive. Traditional Winemaking: Classic Port grapes are sourced from Krohn's prestigious Quinta do Retiro Novo estate and from long-standing relationships with neighbouring growers. After fermentation, the wine is aged in barrel for 4-6 years before bottling, developing complexity whilst retaining vibrant fruit character.

Unfiltered Excellence: Krohn's LBV Ports are neither fined nor filtered, preserving maximum flavour and texture. This traditional approach may result in natural sediment forming over time.
